A federal government backbencher has called for Australia to pause its rollout of the AstraZeneca COVID vaccine, claiming the national medicines regulator is “not infallible”it also had time to spread out geographically. It was no longer concentrated in places such as New York and California.

“I don’t have a lot of faith in the [World Health Organisation].”
