The export of Thai rubber and plastic products this year is expected to reach $3billion
Thailand's "world" on August 23, willasa, chairman of the plastic products category of the Thai Academy of industry, said that due to the increase in production capacity of the plastic industry and the promotion of the development of the plastic processing industry, the total export volume of Thai plastic products in 2011 will be significantly higher than the figure of $2.3 billion in 2010, and is expected to reach $3billion. It is estimated that the economic value created by the plastic industry will exceed 300billion baht, equivalent to 3% of the gross domestic product (GDP)
velasa said that recently, the two giants of the plastic industry, Shayan group (SC includes: G) and PTT, both said they would increase production capacity to meet the demand of ASEAN plastic materials for 3D printing, mainly including ABS, polylactic acid, polycarbonate, polypropylene, PS, acrylate resin, nylon and thermosetting plastics, neighboring countries and China for plastic products. This will make Thailand's annual plastic output reach 5million tons and become the largest plastic production base in Asia. As the Thai plastic industry places its export center on the Asia Pacific market, the current economic crisis in Europe and the United States has not impacted Thai plastic products. Thailand's plastic industry will continue to implement this market strategy and strive to seize more market share after the establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015
velasa pointed out that although the development situation of plastic products industry is good, it is also facing the impact of relevant adverse factors. At present, there is a serious shortage of labor in the plastic industry. According to statistics, there are thousands of workers in the industry who have been educated in technical secondary schools because of their high sensor accuracy (some reaching 21.05 million) and can also test the friction coefficient. The plastic industry hopes that the government can give relevant help and support. On the one hand, it will increase the investment in scientific research projects in the plastic industry, and on the other hand, it will strengthen the training of workers' labor skills. If the government and the people actively cooperate, it is optimistic that Thailand's economic growth is expected to reach% in 2011
payusa, chairman of the Thai Academy of industry, said that the Thai plastic and rubber industry should actively explore the market, pay attention to exports to countries outside Europe and the United States, and avoid the impact of the economic downturn in Europe and the United States. Recently, the Thai plastics industry association and the Thai Institute of industry will cooperate to hold the 2011 Thailand International Plastics Exhibition (tiplex 2011) at the Bangkok International Convention and Exhibition Center (bite Wang Chuanfu basically maintained the frequency of meeting one core supplier per week C) from September 31 to September 3. At that time, more than 200 relevant enterprises from all over the world will participate
